MARCH TRANSITS & Monthly Overview
We step into March with two slow-moving planets poised to change signs. Saturn and Pluto sit on their respective anaretic (final, or crisis) degrees, preparing to plunge into new cosmic territory. In short order, Saturn will enter Pisces, after spending over five years in the signs of its rulership. And Pluto will cross a threshold for the first time since 2008! As they perch on the precipice, so do we. Their shifts promise new life lessons as well as new challenges to overcome. As if to safeguard our passage, the personal planets, Mercury, Venus, and Mars, all stand by to make ingresses of their own; a reminder that change is nothing to fear, and that in and of itself mutability provides a supportive architecture for transitional times. 

 

NOTABLE TRANSITS:

2/3 – Mercury enters Pisces: concepts may get lost in translation, but the sentiment behind them is clear. Tone and emotion go a long way towards clarifying communication.

7/8 – Saturn enters Pisces: boundaries distort and untenable power dynamics dissolve. To who should we assign authority: institutions or a higher power? 

12 – Jupiter conjunct Chiron: crisis situations remind us of past regrets, but gratitude for the journey allows us to heal. Faith is restored. Compassion cauterizes the wound.

16/17 – Venus enters Taurus: we’re looking for love that lasts. Stability and loyalty are prized in friendships and romance.

19 – Mercury enters Aries: after a quick dip in the Pisces pool, Mercury sprints into Aries. Impulsive speech can inspire or accidentally insult. Choose your words carefully.

20/21 – Sun enters Aries: the new astrological year begins, imbuing us with solar power! Pursue your passions with courage and conviction.

23/24 – Pluto enters Aquarius: the next three months offer a preview of Plutonian restructuring to come in 2024. Keep an eye on technological developments.

25/26  – Mars enters Cancer: emotional ups and downs motivate our movements. Do: trust your intuition. Don’t: let anxiety run the show.
